Dyckman Beer to Sponsor Summer Series - APT 78

PRESS RELEASE - | APT 78 & DYCKMAN BEER CO. | MONDAY, JUNE 3, 2013For the third straight year, the neighborhoods of Washington Heights and Inwood will welcome some of the world's greatest DJ's to its preeminent cultural destination, APT 78, for its annual "Summer Series."The series, sponsored by the neighborhoods' first local beermaker, Dyckman Beer Company, will have its most diverse lineup to date featuring DJs who spin across different genres like House, Disco, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B and more, resonating with Uptown and its diverse musical pallete."Summer Series" kicks off July 10th with NY club legend, DJ M.O.S. and concludes on August 10th, fittingly, with "The Finisher" Mr. Cee. But "Summer Series" will feature more than just those two legendary DJs as globally acclaimed DJ Cassidy comes Uptown on July 17th, Boogie Down Productions' own DJ D-Nice spins on July 24th, and legendary New Jersey rapper "Redman" returns to the turntables on July 31st.In years past, Summer Series has featured the likes of Questlove of The Roots, DJ Premier of legendary group Gangstarr, and Biz "Nobody Beats the Biz" Markie to name a few.
